Joppler’s platform enables its members to sign up and create a profile with professional summary, upload short video, and reach out to the current or previous employers to obtain references for their work, skills & experience. We help our members establish business intelligence around their overall performance. Presently Candidates only have an interview of 30 minutes to an hour to land on a decent job, however, not everyone can ace that interview in such a short period of time. There also doesn’t exist a platform for students to portray their academic achievements and praise received from their instructors. Joppler helps resolve this issue and fulfills the need. Joppler is a very cool, intuitive, self-explanatory secure web platform that allows its users to showcase themselves with proper reference checks done by their current and/or previous employers, clients, instructors.
Please view the detailed “How Joppler Works” video on the homepage to fully and properly understand how Joppler works. Once you create a profile you can click on the “Get References” link and send the reference check done by your present of past employers or clients. Your employer will receive an email to provide rating for your work performance. Presently the system is setup to have your reference giver rate or gauge your performance on a scale of 1-5 on using the following performance measurement categories:

The Reference giver will also have a provision to additional comments, suggestions or feedbacks within 250 characters about your overall work performance and their total experience.
By visiting Joppler.com website, Joppler related sites, apps, communications and other services you unconditionally agree to accept all rules, conditions and notes, stated in this Terms of Service and Privacy Policy Agreement. Should you choose not to accept these Terms and Conditions Agreement, you shall not use the website Joppler.com and shall not use any of its services.
THIS WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
By agreeing to the Terms of Service of Joppler, you fully understand that your work performance will be measured by your reference givers on the scale of 1-5 and the KPIs as indicated above. The Joppler system gives you a score upon each submission of reference ratings survey by your reference giver. The score is calculated by our proprietary algorithm by aggregating the values assigned to each KPI. Joppler and its associates are not liable for any adverse effects this may cause to your career due to Joppler score, comments, suggestions or feedbacks provided by the reference providers. You have choice of hiding your Joppler score at any given point of time by going to settings and clicking “Hide Joppler Score from Public”. If your score is low, ensure to do better career wise and request and get references again by your present or past employers. You fully understand the consequences and use this service at your free will to add credibility to your work experience and job profile.
You take full responsibility and risks connected to use of materials, information, advertising, goods and services received by him or her via Internet network, including undesirable materials or materials containing information that is personally offensive to you.
You realize that information provided by you on your profile or given as a reference rating, comments, suggestions or feedback can be accessible by other users and search engines whose actions Joppler.com is not responsible. You fully understand and acknowledge that the rating received might impact your career, either a current job or job search. If you aren’t comfortable with presenting your score, please hide it by going to settings.
Joppler does not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any member profile or other information displayed, uploaded or distributed through the Joppler.com website, our partners or any user of our site or any other person or entity.
Joppler is not responsible for any expenditure of you or any damage that you suffer through direct or indirect use of rendered services. You are responsible for estimation of accuracy, completeness, and utility of any opinion, assessment, service and other information, quality and features of goods received by you through Joppler services.
You agree not to post content that: is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
You are not allowed to create more than one account (profile). Use of multiple accounts is strictly forbidden and will result in instant termination of service.
Joppler has the right to decline your profile (or any of its part) without explanation.
You are responsible for all information that you put into a Profile, including texts, photographs, short video and information that you place at the Site or sends to the Site.
Joppler is not liable for any requests of the third parties that may arise in connection with information placed in the profile of our user.
You understand and acknowledge that Joppler.com is not responsible for any possible faults in rendering services.
Joppler.com has the right to amend and modify the above-stated conditions. In this case they will be published at Joppler.com site.

Your License
You own all of the content, Joppler score, reference check feedback, and personal information you provide to us, but you also grant us a non-exclusive license to it.
As between you and Joppler, you own the content and information that you submit or post to our Services, and you are only granting Joppler and our affiliates the following non-exclusive license:
A worldwide, transferable and sublicensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process, information and content that you provide through our Services and the Services of others, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or others. These rights are limited in the following ways:
You and Joppler agree that if content includes personal data, it is subject to our Privacy Policy.
You and Joppler agree that we may access, store, process and use any information and personal data that you provide in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy and your choices (including settings).
By submitting suggestions or other feedback regarding our Services to Joppler, you agree that Joppler can use and share (but does not have to) such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
You promise to only provide information and content that you have the right to share, and that your Joppler profile will be truthful.
You agree to only provide content or information that does not violate the law nor anyone’s rights (including intellectual property rights). You also agree that your profile information will be truthful. Joppler may be required by law to remove certain information or content in certain countries.
Sharing
When you share information on our Services, others can see, copy and use that information. Our Services allow messaging and sharing of information in many ways, such as your profile, your photo, short video, resume, links to news articles, job postings, messages and blogs. Information and content that you enter, share or post may be seen by other Members, Visitors or others (including off of the Services). Where we have made settings available, we will honor the choices you make about who can see content or information (e.g., restricting access to your Joppler score, you can make it public or choose who is allowed to see it). We default to show the Joppler score to everyone, both the members and visitors. If you are not interested in showing your Joppler score to everyone, we recommend you change the setting to hide it.
We are not obligated to publish any information or content on our Service and can remove it in our sole discretion, with or without notice.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content ("Content") available through the Services is protected by copyrights, trademarks or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as set forth herein or otherwise agreed in writing by Joppler or other rights owner(s), the use of any intellectual property Content available on our Services is strictly prohibited.
Joppler reserves all of its intellectual property rights in the Services. Using the Services does not give you any ownership in our Services or the content or information made available through our Services. Trademarks and logos used in connection with the Services are the trademarks of their respective owners. Joppler and “J” logos and other Joppler trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used for our Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of Joppler.

User-Submitted Information
You are responsible for any Content you transmit through our Services. You agree, represent and warrant that any Content you transmit or post through our Services or to us is truthful, accurate, not misleading and offered in good faith, and that you have the right to transmit such Content. You shall not upload, post or otherwise make available on or through our Services any Content protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any third party without the express written permission of the owner of such right(s) or the authority to do so. You shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from any misrepresentation of education, certification, work history, or infringement of copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights, or any other harm resulting from such a submission.
By submitting Content, other than personally identifiable information, you grant to Joppler (or warrant that the owner of such Content has expressly granted to Joppler) a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and unrestricted right and license (a) to use, reproduce, display, modify, adapt, publish, translate, transmit, distribute or otherwise make available to others such Content (in whole or in part and for any purpose) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed; (b) to exercise all copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy and other proprietary rights with regard to such Content; and (c) to use your name, likeness and/or other biographical information in any and all media and/or communications. You also agree that Joppler is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send to us for any purpose.
Secure User Accounts
Certain portions of our Websites are accessible only to users who have been granted access and given login credentials ("Secure Users"). If you are a Secure User, you agree to accurately maintain and update any information about yourself and your account that you have provided to our Services.
You further agree that you are responsible for all activities that occur under your Secure User account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and you agree not to share your login credentials with any unauthorized parties. You also agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your login credentials or any other breach of security that you become aware of involving or relating to Services by emailing us at info@joppler.com.
Joppler reserves the right to take any and all action, as it deems necessary or reasonable to maintain the security of the Services and your account, including without limitation, terminating your account, changing your password or requesting information to authorize transactions on your account.
WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES AND DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS SECTION.
Changes to our Services
We may make improvements and/or changes to the Services, add or remove features, or terminate a Website at any time without notice. We (a) reserve the right (but have no obligation) to change the Content or other offerings on the Services, at any time without any notice or liability to you or any other person; and (b) do not warrant that information on the Services is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. User Generated Content
Any information, statements, opinions or other content provided by the users or reference givers and made available on our Services are those of the respective author(s) and not Joppler. We do not guarantee the validity, accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, reliability or usefulness of any information, statement, opinion or other content on our Services other than from an authorized Joppler representative acting in his or her official capacity. Under no circumstance will Joppler be liable for any loss or damage caused, directly or indirectly, by your reliance on any such user generated content.

The Joppler Services may provide, solely as a convenience to users, links to websites operated by third parties. If you use these links, you will leave our Services or Website. If you decide to visit any linked website, you do so at your own risk and it is your responsibility to take all protective measures to guard against viruses or other destructive elements. The Joppler does not make any warranty or representation regarding, or endorse or otherwise sponsor, any linked websites or the information appearing thereon or any of the products or services described thereon. All comments, visuals and other materials posted by visitors to our Social Media Pages do not necessarily reflect the opinions or ideas of Joppler. All visitors to our Social Media Pages must comply with the respective social media website's Terms of Use. We review some but not all postings to our Social Media Pages and may remove postings that we determine are inappropriate or offensive.

Termination / Account Closure
If you desire to close your Joppler account, your personal data will generally stop being visible to others on our Services within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.
We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse), enforce our User Agreement, or fulfill your request to "unsubscribe" from further messages from us. We will retain de-personalized information after your account has been closed.
Information you have shared with others will remain visible after you close your account or delete the information from your own profile or mailbox, and we do not control data that other Members have copied out of our Services. Groups content and ratings or review content associated with closed accounts will show an unknown user as the source. Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others (e.g., search engine results) until they refresh their cache.
Child Privacy / Service Eligibility
You must be eighteen (18) years of age or over to use this website. Your profile may be deleted without warning, if we have reason to believe you are under eighteen (18) years of age.
If you are under the age of 18, please do not use or access our Services. It is not our intention to collect or use personal information from anyone under 18 years of age, and we will not knowingly do so. If we are made aware that we have collected any personal information from children under the age of 18 and are asked to delete such information from our system, we will promptly do so. You will only have one Joppler account, which must be in your real name. Creating an account with false information is a violation of terms, including accounts registered on behalf of others or persons under the age of 18.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joppler and its Affiliates, Board members, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees) or other expenses that arise directly or indirectly out of or from (a) your breach of any provision of this Agreement; (b) your activities in connection with the Services; or (c) unsolicited information you provide to Joppler through the Services.
Consent to Communication
If you provide us with a telephone number or email address, you expressly agree that we, or our authorized agents, can use that number or email address to contact you.
When you use the Services or send emails to Joppler, you are communicating with Joppler electronically. You consent to receive electronically any communications through our website, apps related to your use of the Services. We may communicate with you by email or by posting notices on our Services. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that are provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. All notices from Joppler intended for receipt by a user in connection with the Services shall be deemed delivered and effective when sent to the email address provided by the user on or through within the Services. You agree to keep your contact information up to date, if your contact information is incorrect, you will miss out on important notifications.
Effect of Invalidity
In the event a court having jurisdiction finds any portion of this Agreement unenforceable, that portion shall not be effective, and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain effective.
Waivers
No waiver, express or implied, by either party of any breach of or default under this Agreement will constitute a continuing waiver of such breach or default or be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.
International Users
The Services are controlled, operated and administered by Joppler from its offices within the United States of America and are not intended to subject Joppler to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of the United States. JOPPLER DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES OR ANY PART THEREOF ARE APPROPRIATE OR AVAILABLE FOR USE IN ANY PARTICULAR JURISDICTION OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES. Those who choose to access the Services do so on their own initiative and at their own risk, and are responsible for complying with all statutes, orders, regulations, rules and other laws of applicable jurisdictions.
Choice of Law
You agree that any dispute in connection with the Services, this Agreement or the Privacy Policy will be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, USA. You also consent to the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with the Website in the state and federal courts located in the State of Virginia.
Complaints Regarding Content
Please send email to info@joppler.com for complaint about content provided by our Members. We respect the intellectual property rights of others. We require that information posted by Members be accurate and not in violation of the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties. Social Networking Activities
Our Services may allow you to enter social networking websites such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. If you choose to follow, like, friend, share, or comment on our social media websites, or otherwise share information on these social networking websites, we may receive information about you. We may use such information about you in a variety of ways, including to enhance your experience with the Joppler's outreach and to communicate with you about new Joppler activities. We may keep all of this information indefinitely.
Profile
You have choices about the information on your profile, such as your education, work experience, skills, photo, short video, location, references, and Joppler Score. You don’t have to provide additional information on your profile; however, profile information helps you to get more from our Services, including helping recruiters and business opportunities find you. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and to make that sensitive information public. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
Posting and Uploading
We collect personal data from you when you provide, post or upload it to our Services, such as when you fill out a form, (e.g., with demographic data or your job data), respond to references, or submit a resume or fill out a job application on our Services. In the future, if you opt to import your address book, we receive your contacts (including contact information your service provider(s) or app automatically added to your address book when you communicated with addresses or numbers not already in your list).
You don’t have to post or upload personal data; though if you don’t, it may limit your ability to grow and engage in the opportunities over our Services.
Service Use
We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use our Services, including our sites, app and platform technology, such as when you view or click on content or ads (on or off our sites and apps), perform a search, install or update one of our mobile apps, share articles or apply for jobs. We use log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol (“IP”) addresses to identify you and log your use.
Site Use Information
Joppler may collect technical information relating to each time a visitor comes to our Services, including the IP address of visitors to our Websites/Apps/Services.
